Privacy policy

Last updated 3 November 2026

This policy explains what AR Photobooth ("we") collects when you visit this website, apply for an account, or use a photobooth that runs on our platform, and what we do with it. We serve customers in the Philippines and the United States, and partners elsewhere.

Guests at events

When you use a booth at an event, the booth takes the photos you choose to take. We process:

We do not ask for your name or contact details at the booth. We do not use your photos to identify you, and we do not build face templates. To create AI styles, photos are sent to an AI service provider that processes them for us. Event text such as names and dates is never sent to AI services.

Your photos are private: they can only be opened with your own code. You can delete your photos at any time from the page your QR code opens. Otherwise, photos are deleted after 30 days unless the event host has agreed a different period with the operator. Photos you allow to appear on the venue slideshow can be hidden by the operator at any time.

The event host or booth operator decides to run the booth at their event. For questions about a particular event, you can also contact the operator who ran it.

People who apply for an account

When you sign in with Google to apply, we receive your Google name, email address and profile picture. We also keep the answers on the application form.

Website visitors and contact requests

We measure visits with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not track you across other websites. If you send us a demo, quote or pricing request, we keep your name, email, country, event date and message to answer you.

To keep the site safe we may use a bot check and keep request logs, including IP addresses, for a short time.

Who we share data with

We use service providers to run the platform: hosting and storage, email delivery, background jobs, sign-in (Google) and AI image processing. They process data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to its use, or to complain to a regulator (in the Philippines, the National Privacy Commission). To make a request, contact us.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version above.
